ITLA Women’s Trial Lawyers Caucus Takes Lobbying Trip to Springfield

Cooney & Conway trial attorney Kathy Byrne traveled to Springfield last week for an Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA) Women’s Trial Lawyers Caucus lobbying trip to meet with state legislators about the protection of plaintiff’s rights.

To put a face and a voice to the women of ITLA, caucus representatives met with each their individual legislators, and personally met with Illinois Speaker of the House Michael Madigan and President of the Senate John Cullerton. The group also hosted an evening reception for  members of the Illinois General Assembly.

Ms. Byrne is ITLA’s Treasurer and a member of the ITLA Board of Managers & Executive Committee.
